Competiting against IPBFree admin, catfriedrice, and long time respected skinner, Galimm, Streek Dime was able fit into the skinning world. Though only a novice at skinning, Streek Dime's first few skins led to a successful start and contributed to the creation of Design Sector. From then on, Streek Dime has made many more skins that continually increased the awareness and popularity of Design Sector, thus, making it what it is today.

After a period of skinning, the focus of Design Sector shifted to coding, which was it's source of weakness. Now, Design Sector has a vast number of codes, and many more than any other resource board has.
